The Basics
- The swimmers body rotates to the left and right side face down.
- The swimmers arms move one by one over the top of your head into the water and pulling your body forward.
- The swimmers legs kick in the traditional style, one leg after the other, up and down, hard fast kicks.
- The swimmers head will want to stay fixed on the bottom of the pool, only breaking that to breath to the side.
Tips
- During freestyle you should focus a lot on your kicking, hard fast quick kicks are the best.
- Try to take minimal breaths, when you breath you slow down.
